Quiz Island Student — Privacy Policy

Quiz Island Student lets a student join their teacher's live Quiz Island game. It is a window onto the teacher's app. It keeps no account and sends nothing to Island Solutions.

1. Where your information goes

• Only to your teacher's Quiz Island. The nickname you type and your answers go straight to your teacher's phone or computer — over the classroom Wi-Fi, or through the online link your teacher shared.
• Island Solutions never receives it. We run no server for this app.

2. Finding the quiz

To list quizzes nearby, the app listens for and sends small "Quiz Island is here" messages on your current Wi-Fi, and checks addresses on that Wi-Fi for Quiz Island. This stays inside the local network. The app remembers the last few quizzes you joined, on your phone only.

3. Camera

The camera is used only when you scan your teacher's QR code, and only after you allow it.

4. No ads, no tracking

There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking in this app, and nothing is sold or shared.

5. For parents and guardians

Students may be under 18. The app collects nothing for us; quiz results are kept by the teacher and school under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and DepEd policies.
